At her first press conference of 2021, Pennsylvania Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine said the federal expectation of getting one million COVID-19 vaccine doses administered nationwide per day during the holiday period “were higher than they should have been,” and is optimistic the process will speed up in the coming weeks.
Pennsylvania has administered 135,044 doses as of Monday.
