One of my rituals shortly after the start of any new year is to do the “purge,” as I sort through accumulated stuff and get rid of things no longer needed. This year, I decided to “purge” my filing cabinet, and got rid of bios, promos and promo pictures of obsolete bands that had accumulated over the past decade or so. (I’m an unapologetic pack rat, I save everything!) Along the way, I found a few items that were well worth saving, and this autographed photo of Halestorm – presented to yours truly and Q94 during a “Homegrown Rocker” guest appearance shortly after they were first signed to Atlantic Records – is one of them. This one is quickly being relocated into a frame or photo album!
