Altoona police say two people were transported to the hospital Sunday morning after crashing their car into a residence near the intersection of 29th Street and 7th Ave. The crash occurred just after 6 a.m. and responding crews arrived to find the vehicle on fire. Investigators say the vehicle’s two female occupants were transported to UPMC Altoona for treatment of serious injuries. The crash is still being investigated.
