For this week’s “Local Song of the Week,” we’re keeping it in-house…Heard from time to time on both Q94 Classic Rock and WTRN Classic Favorites, “Dangerous” Denny Pompa has been performing and creating music for more than three decades. When he is not – as Q94’s Sean McKay says – “blowing stuff up in his backyard,” Denny is often learning, creating and performing new songs with his cousin, Ken Pompa. The Denny & Ken duo can be seen frequently on Cambria County stages such as Woody Lodge Winery in Ashville, the Castle Pub in Ebensburg, the Hastings VFW and other locations! The pair frequently introduces and performs their new songs, both original and cover, on Denny’s Facebook page and “Denny Pompa’s Audio, Music & Voice Over” page on YouTube. This is one of their original songs that recently debuted on the “Homegrown Rocker,” called “Roadblocks and Wrong Turns.”
