That is the word from his campaign and his wife. John Fetterman suffered a stroke last Friday while in Lancaster County, and was hospitalized. Now the democratic candidate for U.S. Senate will watch tonites results from his hospital bed at Lancaster General Hospital. Fetterman told campaign workers he was not feeling good last Friday, when it was discovered he had developed a blood clot from his atrial fibrulation condition, and had a stroke. Fetterman is recovering but will not be on the campaign trail today seeking any last minute votes. He is considered the leading democrat on the primary ballot to win the nomination for the race in November.
