The Associated Press reports that there will be a recount in the race between Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dave McCormick to see who will face John Fetterman in November. Acting secretary of state Leigh Chapman said that the vote totals and margin of percentage difference fall well within the state’s guidelines to force a recount. The 2 candidates have been virtually deadlocked since the may 17th primary and now will have to wait for a recount to declare a winner. That will have to happen by June 8th. As of yesterday. Oz led McCormick by just 902 votes.
