According to state police, 77 year old Walter Stevens was inside Sir Barney’s restaurant located along Beaver Valley road in Flinton on Sunday July 31st and was seen going into the office area. It was then reported that Stevens was rooting through the office and a money drawer. He is accused of then taking two envelopes that contained $1165. State Police out of Ebensburg are handling the investigation. The report did not say if or when charges will be filed.
