A report by WTAJ indicates that Huntingdon Borough officials have announced that the Blair house building will have to be torn down. The building was severely damaged by fire in the past two years. Plans were made after the first fire to rebuild the complex, which served as a housing unit for some 59 elderly and disabled community members before the fire. Plans were announced to re-do the building, at a cost of $10,000,000. But after careful study of the facility, it was decided to tear it down.
