The Altoona Mirror reports that a Bedford County judge has bound charges against Chelsea Cooley over for trial in connection with the death of her boyfriends son. Cooley is accused of causing the child to choke to death back in may. An emergency room doctor testified yesterday that the child was brought to UPMC Bedford unresponsive, then discovered several wet wipes has been shoved into the child’s mouth and throat. Testimony concluded that the child could not have placed the wipes inside his own mouth. Cooley is charged with criminal homicide, child endangerment, aggravated assault, strangulation, reckless endangerment and simple assault.
