WJAC reports that jury selection has begun in the case of 27 year old Joshua Gorgone. He is charged with fatally stabbing 54 year old Denise Williams multiple times during a face to face meeting over purchasing a refrigerator last year. Police say that Gorgone and Williams began arguing over the asking price of the appliance, and Gorgone is alleged to have stabbed Williams to death inside his apartment. Gorgone testified at his preliminary hearing and admitted to stabbing Williams, who was buying the refrigerator for her boyfriend. Upon completion of the jury selection, the trial is expected to begin on Monday.
