A report by WJAC indicates that 72 year old Roy Cooley of Robertsdale is facing charges of allegedly grabbing a 15 year old student by the throat on the bus back on august 30th. The report indicates that Cooley asked the student to change is seat on the bus, but refused. That is when Cooley allegedly stopped the bus, and approached the boy. He is accused of yelling at the boy, then picking him up by the throat. Two other students intervened and separated the two. Cooley has not driven another bus since the incident and has been charged with child endangerment, reckless endangerment, simple assault and harassment.
