The Altoona Mirror reports that 42 year old Nicole Gaines was sentenced to 57 months in a federal prison and 3 years supervised probation following her conviction of running drugs. The prosecuting attorney commended the DEA and Pa State Police for their efforts that led to the prosecution of Gaines. Numerous other law enforcement agencies across western pa also were involved with the investigation. Gaines was charged with distributing some 500 or more grams of a mixture or drugs, mostly meth, between July 2019 and June 2020.
