News reports indicate that on Saturday afternoon, people 21 years of age and older will now be able to purchase beer at Penn State football games. In order to purchase beer, patrons must present a legal government issued id, showing proof of age, then they will be given a wristband. Fans will be able to purchase 2 16 oz beers at a time. Stands will be located in all area of beaver stadium, except near the student sections. However, students who are 21 or older, can purchase and drink beer. Penn state becomes the 9th big 10 school to allow beer sales at home football games.
