Volunteers heading south

A report out of Harrisburg says that 45 members of the Pennsylvania Task Force 1 group will head to South Carolina to help residents there recover from the aftermath of hurricane Ian. There are also pa residents in Florida and Puerto Rico helping with recovery efforts. A spokesperson for the red cross of Pennsylvania says that some volunteers will also make their way to Florida soon. One way Pennsylvanians can help is by donating blood. Its not known if the storm or any fallout will make it to Pennsylvania. You can visit the red cross website for additional information about how you can help.
