Democratic candidate Josh Shapiro bolted out to a big lead early, and cruised into the governor’s mansion defeating republican challenger Doug Mastriano. Shapiro ended up with more than 55% of the vote, while Mastriano garnered 43%. In his victory speech last night, Shapiro touted his support to send even more money into public education in Pennsylvania, along with his support of the 24 week abortion law, and even said he will try to put an end to Donald Trump’s claims that the 2020 election in pa was stolen. He also said that furing the campaign, he listened to the voters of pa, and they are hurting, and vowed to help. Shapiro thanked his family for all their support, and started his speech with thanking Pennsylvanians for handing him the governors mansion.
