Bill Anderson‘s first cut was a “little” song called “City Lights” that went to #1 for Ray Price. In 1958. Bill’s sold millions of records for others as a songwriter, and on his own as a singer. Altough nominated as a songwriter (for Steve Wariner’s “Two Teardrops”) this week, he achieved something he never had before.
