District Court Administrator Nicole Smith and Jury Coordinator Sally Padula announced that Blair County is adopting a new jury system that will provide greater convenience for people summoned for jury duty. A new jury summons form will appear in Blair County mailboxes the week of December 12th. Prospective jurors will be asked to complete a juror information questionnaire. Upon completion they will receive an email confirmation and attachments with additional information. Those who do not have access to the internet can call the jury coordinator to request a juror information questionnaire by mail. Failure to respond electronically or by mail within 10 days of receipt is punishable by law.
