Turnpike chase leads to arrest

State police report that they picked up on a stolen jeep that was traveling west along the PA Turnpike in Bedford County, when troopers got onto his trail. Roger Villogram was allegedly driving a jeep that had been reported stolen. Troopers pursued Villogram, but he sped up and went from Bedford to Breezewood, where he left the pike and started on route 30. Villogram was driving in excess of 100 mph during the chase. Hitting a troopers cruiser, and crashed into a tree. Villogram then fled on foot, but was caught by troopers. He was charged with aggravated assault, fleeing or eluding police, receiving stolen property, dui, resisting arrest, drug possession and numerous traffic violations. He is locked up in the Bedford County jail on $75,000 bond.
