The Altoona Mirror reports that Laura Burke is seeking a second term in Hollidaysburg. Burke was elected in 2019, and says that she will work to improve day to day operations of the county and to use her first term as experience gained to tackle tough problems that may lie ahead. Burke says that she is always looking for common ground for any issue to work with other county officials and residents to solve problems. Burke will run as a democrat. She is the lone democrat on the 3 member board.
