A report in the Altoona Mirror indicates that fire crews were called out to a garage fire in antis twp around 2 pm. Firefighters arrived on the scene at 1690 Kerbaugh Dam Lane, to find the garage heavily engulfed in flames, along with heavy smoke. One person who lived on the grounds, managed to save a corvette and an all terrrain vehicle from the flames, but 3 other vehicles were apparently destroyed. The homeowner had to be taken to the hospital for treatment, but was later released. The state police fire marshal is investigating the blaze.
