A Bedford County mother will be spending at least four years behind bars, after she pled guilty in the overdose death of her 1-month-old baby. Twenty-one-year-old Jayleigh Long of Riddlesburg, agreed to a guilty plea in court for multiple counts of child endangerment, in the death of the infant which occurred last year, inside a Broad Top Township home. It was determined the baby had come in contact with methamphetamine. Authorities say Long admitted to using the drug, prior to putting the baby to bed.
