Pennsylvania lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are responding to last Friday’s tense meeting between President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky. Democratic Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro said Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance’s actions, served to undermine the safety and security of America, and accused them of alienating U.S. allies. His views were echoed by former Republican Congressman Charlie Dent, who said the heated exchange blew up “80 years of transatlantic partnership.” Current Republican Representative Dan Meuser however, approved of the president’s actions, stating that Zelensky is “more interested in being a war hero than a peacemaker.”
