A flood watch is in effect for rain soaked Somerset County that was hit hard by heavy rains last week. According to the National Weather Service a moderate flood watch is in effect for the county through tomorrow morning at 5:00. The National Weather Service says excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and may rise over their banks. You are advised to be aware of flood warnings, and prepare to take action if flooding should develop.
