Two exotic African wildcats were discovered during a drug bust in Clearfield County last Thursday. Arrested were 33-year-old Nicholas Rumsey, and 27-year-old Jennifer Dixon. According to the Clearfield County District Attorney’s Office the two were charged with possession with intent to distribute, and endangering the welfare of a child. During a search of the home, state police reportedly seized around three pounds of meth, 159 grams of fentanyl, and 9 grams of heroin. Also discovered were two African wildcats located in the basement of the home, where the animals were being kept unlawfully. The Pennsylvania Game Commission removed the animals and reportedly took them to a licensed facility in Snyder County. The case will be prosecuted by the Clearfield County District Attorney’s Office.
