A 48-year-old Northern Cambria woman, Kerry Buza, is facing animal cruelty charges after police found a dog emaciated and unable to stand in an outdoor kennel. Investigators determined the dog had been forced to eat hay and straw, resulting in two bowel obstructions, after being denied food and water. Buza is facing misdemeanor charges for cruelty to animals and neglect of care. The dog has been surrendered, and taken to a vet for care.
