Altoona Man Charged With Animal Cruelty

A 23-year-old Altoona man identified as Tamlin Richardson, has been charged with felony aggravated cruelty to animals after surveillance footage and witness accounts showed him kicking, punching, and choking his dog at Nic’s Grab N Go on 6^th Avenue on Aug. 3rd.  Police reports indicate the dog was injured, and Richardson, who was allegedly under the influence, was found with drug paraphernalia, and held in the Blair County Prison on $25,000 bail.  He has been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, among other counts.
