SEPTEMBER 6 – What’s New?: We spend this week’s program checking in on our mailboxes and exploring new local and regional recordings that have made their way to us in recent weeks! We’ll be debuting numerous new songs; including a song off Alyssa Hankey’s new album “Good Country People,” John Peacefire and the latest from Altoona’s Walkney!
SEPTEMBER 13 – John Peacefire: We welcome the return of our musical guest, area singer, songwriter, thinker and creator John Peacefire! John recently released his latest album called “Meridians” – we’ll discuss the new album and its music, find out about the evolution of John’s songwriting process, his live show, plus hear songs off the new album!
SEPTEMBER 20 – More New Tunes: We’ll again get caught up with more new local and regional music recordings that have arrived at “Homegrown Rocker” headquarters in recent days and weeks!
SEPTEMBER 27 – “Instruments Do the Talking” Special: We give the area singers the week off as we let the instruments do the talking! Every song we play on this program will be an instrumental number that originated from the local and regional music scene! We’ll hear instrumental numbers from such names as Felix & the Hurricanes, Ted McCloskey, Devin Sherman, Memory Collector, Sterling Koch, Almost Honest, Dave Nagle, Don Hughes, Wine Of Nails and others!
