The Pennsylvania Game Commission is investigating the death of a young bald eagle after it had been found injured in Westmoreland County. The bird was discovered last week on the Westmoreland Heritage Trail and died before it could be taken for care. The bird was later found to have a pellet from an air rifle in its wing. Anyone with informatin is asked to contact the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
