Police report that the victim was from Everett but did not release the name. The accident occurred along Plank Road Route 1009 in Hopewell Twp around 11:30 am Saturday. Very few details were furnished by police, except to report that a car was heading south on plank road just before the crash. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police did say that the child was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. A passenger in the car was injured and treated at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
