The United States’ dominant run in Williamsport is over. Chinese Taipei beat Las Vegas, Nevada 7-0 in the tournament final, becoming the first international team since 2017 to win the title. It is the 18th championship for Chinese Taipei and the first since 1996. Lin Chin-Tse led the way, tossing five shutout innings on the mound and going one-for-three at the plate with a triple and three RBIs. In the third-place game, Fairfield, Connecticut beat Aruba 4-2.
