Account Executive


Job Description:

Lightner Communications is seeking an Account Executive responsible for selling radio advertising to local businesses. Applicant should be self-motivated, goal driven, and highly competitive!



  • Identify client’s business needs by gaining a deep understanding of their goals and objectives and then developing a customized advertising solution to meet client objectives.
  • Deliver effective sales presentations
  • Excel at prospecting and aggressively seeking new clients
  • Follow all station procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, submitting regular sales reports and forecasts.
  • Assist clients with creative copy and campaign strategy



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, and social networking platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience developing new business relationships
  • Positive attitude with the willingness to grow professionally
  • Flexible and creative
  • Digitally savvy
  • Media Sales background preferred
  • Has good follow-up skills
