Small Town Titans – “The Ride”

This week’s “Local Song of the Week” is a number you may have heard on the “Homegrown Rocker” in recent months: the title song from “The Ride,” the latest album by York-based hard rockers, the Small Town Titans. Singer and bassist Phil Freeman, guitarist Ben Guiles and drummer Jonny Ross recorded this song, about confronting and overcoming anxiety, before the COVID-19 pandemic started last year; the song took on new meaning as the band and the rest of the world dealt with the anxieties brought on by the pandemic. Small Town Titans open for Kix during Gettysburg Bike Week on July 10, open for Halestorm at the York Fairgrounds on July 30, and support Hinder for several nationwide tour dates in August; keep your eyes open for them in the months ahead!
