We visit the regional holiday music catalog for this week’s “Local Song of the Week”…Four years ago, York-based heavy rockers the Small Town Titans unleashed this rendition of “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” giving this Dr. Seuss classic a dark and menacing makeover! Lead singer and bassist Phil Freeman, guitarist Ben Guiles and drummer Jonny Ross quickly earned plenty of attention online and on the radio with their “Grinch” update, and the song clearly displays Phil’s multi-tiered, powerhouse voice! Needless to say, you’ll be hearing this version of the Dr. Seuss classic on the “Homegrown Rocker” again during this holiday season!
