Here is the recap of the January 9 edition of “The Homegrown Rocker,” which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock!
We welcomed our first musical guest of 2022 into the studio this week, as Bedford-based singer, songwriter and guitarist Devin Sherman joined us! Devin shared his story, and we discussed his career, music and live show. We aired some songs from Devin’s album Devin Sherman Does a Demo, and Devin brought a guitar and played a few numbers live for us as well! We also debuted new songs from Moonshine Jasmine, Hannah Bingman and Wax Mekanix, updated “Local Music News,” dug a 2007 number from Somerhill from the archive for a “Local Music Flashback,” stepped “Across State Lines” to hear music from former area musician Matt Nagy (now calling Nashville his home base), and reviewed Infused’s Audio Epiphany album in “The Professor’s CD Corner!” (For those who missed the program, a four-part podcast of this show is available for listening or download from Q94’s website, www.q94classicrock.com.
