A state police incident report indicates that troopers arrested 36 year old Jonathan Copenhaver of Shirleysburg after he allegedly set fire to a home on extract road on Tuesday. The report indicates that Copenhaver started the fire, then fled to his residence where he was captured. Troopers say that Copenhaver barricaded himself inside his residence, armed with a firearm. State police along with their emergency response team set up a perimeter around Copenhaver’s home before taking him into custody. The investigation is ongoing. No injuries were reported.
