WTAJ reported that Juniata College in Huntingdon recently received word that a donor who wished to remain anonymous, donated $5 million to the school. Officials at Juniata say the money will be used for environmental studies and will help students studying in that major. One school vice president said that the money will help to expand the Raystown Fieldhouse, and environmental research facility, to give students an expanded opportunity to study the outdoors for entire semesters. The donation will also help more students enter into the field of environmental science. The donor was apparently on vacation when he or she decided to give the money to Juniata.
