The Altoona Mirror reports that current Glendale superintendent Ed Disabato has been selected as the next superintendent of Bellwood. Disabato has been at Glendale for the past 8 years and has been in administrative positions for the past 25 years. Disabato will begin his new duties in Bellwood on July 5th. His new contract is for 5 years. He will succeed Dr.Thomas McInroy, who announced earlier this school year that he would be leaving his post. Disabato will finish the current school calendar at Glendale before leaving for Bellwood.
