Man Arrested For Food, Drink Theft

WTAJ reported that police were sent to a convenience store on Chestnut Avenue last Friday night around 11pm. There they encountered 36 year old Matthew Robinson. Store employees told police that Robinson allegedly went into the store, took an alcoholic beverage and a buffalo chicken sandwich and left the store without paying. Upon arrival, Robinson became beligerent with officers, telling them he was not going to jail and head butted one officer. Robinson was hauled off to the Blair County jail, charged with resisting arrest, aggravated assault, retail theft, simple assault and harassment. Bail was set at $40,000.
