4 of the 9 candidates vying for the republican nomination to become pa’s next governor squared off on the debate stage last night. Lou Barletta, Dave White, Doug Mastriano and Bill McSwain all did answer questions asked of them, but were not without attack points against one another. All 4 men said they would be pro life governors, all said they would re-start pa’s energy grid to get the economy going, all agreed that gov wolf has destroyed the economy of the commonwealth with his Covid shutdown. Also the candidates all took a very strong stand on how to fight and deter crime in our cities and towns, by vigorously enforcing the law and prosecuting criminals, unlike what is happening in Philadelphia. And one of the most important topics was infrastructure funding. All would like to know where all the gas tax money money for roads and bridges is going across the state.
