Saturday will be the say for the national drug take back campaign. This is an opportunity to take unwanted, unused or outdated prescriptions and medications and dispose of them. There are several locations around Blair County you can use. They include Walgreens in Altoona, along with the Altoona Police Dept, the Blair County Sheriff’s office in front of the county courthouse, the Poplar Building at Penn State Altoona, the Martinsburg Police Dept and the Freedom Twp Police Dept. The event will run from 10am-2pm. Other locations listed are the Portage Boro Police Dept, Carrolltwon Police Dept and Patton Boro Police and Fire Dept.
