WTAJ reported that the blaze broke out at a house located on the 2200 block of N. 7th street just shortly before 2:00 Saturday afternoon and worked quickly. According to the report. The united volunteer fire company arrived within minutes of the call, and had flames under control in a short period of time. A neighbor near the scene of the fire helped out by pulling a vehicle out of the ay for firefighters. Kittanning, Newburg, Lakemont and Greenwood were all on standby. Pinecroft, the Bellwood Rapid Response team and AMED along with Logan Twp Police were on scene. Fire officials say the fire may have started inside the vehicle.
