Voters have until next Tuesday, May 10th, to apply for a mail in ballot for the primary, which is set for two weeks from today. The deadline to register to vote in the primary was yesterday. So if you did not register to vote, then you will not be able to cast your ballot. Independent voters can vote on any referendum question, but not on the party line primary races. If you do vote by mail, you must have your ballot into the office of county elections by 8pm on the 17th. If you do get a mail in ballot, and want to vote in person, you can do so. Just bring in your mail in ballot to your polling station, and it will be voided. If you vote by mail, you cannot vote a second time in person.
