Sources out of Harrisburg are reporting that state Senator Jake Corman will announce this morning that he will officially drop out of the race for the republican nomination. In doing so, information from the Corman campaign indicates that he will now endorse Lou Barletta’s bid to become the nominee. There was no reason given why Corman has apparently decided to drop out of the race at this late date, but details are expected to be released today. This leaves 7 republicans still running. Polls indicate that Doug Mastriano is now the clear front runner to win the nomination next Tuesday.
