According to a report by the National Desk, some 1200 voters recently polled said that nearly half are struggling. The national survey conducted by Scott Rasmussen indicates that 48% of the 1200 people polled say their finances are in getting worse, compared to just 10% who say they are in excellent shape. Only 20% of those 1200 polled say they are much or somewhat better financially, with the rest stating that they are about the same, or worse for the past year or so. The report did not state what specific questions if any were asked of the people polled.
