Doug Mastriano says it defies logic that males should be able to compete on womens sports teams, and that it will undermine the core of womens athletics across the state and nation. Also, State Rep Barbara Gleim stated that women will lose out if they are forced to play against biological males, saying that their performance could and will be affected, which could cause them to lose out on scholarship opportunities for college .LAST Week a 7-4 vote by the senate education committee approved house bill 972 that will forbid these athletes from competing against females. The PIAA says it leaves this decision up to school principals. Gov wolf says he will veto the bill .
