TV news reports and Clearfield Borough police report that officers arrested 23 year old Jonathan Maines for allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with the young girl. Police received a report from child welfare back in march about the alleged relationship . Later police learned that it was true when another juvenile told them what was going on. The victim claims that Maines removed her clothing when the two were lying together on a couch and he allegedly raped her. Police report that the victim told them what happened during questioning. Maines was taken into custody and charged with child rape, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors.
