A report by WTAJ out of Berks County indicates that a new company is creating a possible temporary solution to the ongoing crisis. “By Heart” opened its doors in berks county back in march, and it is the first new company in the world to manufacture baby formula in the last 15 years. The state has invested nearly $2 million into the project. The formula comes strictly from 99% whole foods with 1% of its ingredients consisting of vitamins and minerals. For now, you can purchase the instant formula online, with plans in the works to sell it in retail stores. The report did state there is a waiting list of customers.
