State Police say that Chelsea Cooley of Everett is facing homicide charges after a 3 year old boy died over the weekend. Police say that medical reports showed that the child had baby wipes stuffed in his throat, and that he was also strangled. Cooley allegedly told police she put the child to bed around 7:30 Saturday night and checked on him an hour later, only to find him not breathing. Cooley also said that she told them she found the baby wipes in his throat. Ems officials say that there were 4 wipes stuffed inside the child’s throat, and that he could not have put them there himself. Police also say that Cooley apparently waited for some time to call 911. The child died at UPMC Childrens Hospital in Pittsburgh.
