News reports indicates that an overwhelming number of Americans say this country is heading in the wrong direction. A Harvard Harris poll conducted, reported by the National Desk found that only 38% of people polled said they were proud to be Americans. The lowest numbers since the first poll taken back in 2001. Also, 71% of those polled, say that America is simply headed for disaster in terms of the economy possibly heading for a recession. 64% of those asked said that they are worse off financially now and that is getting worse by the day.
