News and police reports say that one person was found dead inside a home in Snyder Twp. On Wednesday night. The standoff began around 3:15 Wednesday afternoon when police were called out to South Eagle Valley road, and Scotts Lane where a man apparently barricaded himself inside a house. Roads surrounding the house were closed off to traffic as the situation played out. Police finally entered the house, and found an unidentified 51 year old man was dead from a self inflicted gunshot wound. His identity has not been released, and police are investigation to determine what caused the standoff.
